Transport Stations
Released by Takara in Japan and Hasbro in North America between 1987 and 1988, the Transport Stations were large-scale transforming transports that unfolded into multi-level Battle Beasts bases. Rooted in the line’s elemental mythology, each functioned as both a rolling vehicle and a fully realized headquarters, packed with weapons emplacements, storage areas, capture features, and dedicated spaces for figures and accessories.
The lineup consisted of the Fire-element Blazing Phoenix (Blazing Sun), the Water-element Shocking Shark, and the Wood-element Wood Beetle, each designed as an elemental counterpart to the others. Every Transport Station included a unique pack-in figure and shared a common design theme, with animal-inspired exteriors that opened up to reveal detailed interior environments!
