Figure Name (Takara):

This is the Japanese name given to a figure by Takara, the Japanese company that produced Beastformers.

Figure Number:

This is the numerical identification number given to a Beastformer. There are 112 Figures in total—76 belonging to the Battle Beasts (Beastformers in Japan) and 36 belonging to the Laser Beasts. This number is stamped on each figure and denotes

MVP Weapon Name:

This is the name of the figure's MVP weapon. MVP weapons (Miracle Victory Point) are unique to each Beastformer.

MVP Weapon Number:

This number, which is stamped on each MVP weapon, binds it to its wielder through a corresponding number.

Battle Emblem:

When rubbed, this heat-activated decal reveals the figure's elemental strength: fire, water, wood.

Light-Emitting Orb:

This feature, exclusive to Laser Beasts, displays the figure's elemental strength when held up to a light source. Light passes through a small aperture on the figure's back and illuminates an elemental symbol on the figure's chest. Similar to a Battle Beast's battle emblem, a Laser Beast's light-emitting orb can revel one of three elements: fire, wood, or water.

Aperture:

This is the small hole on the back of a Laser Beast, which allows light to pass through the figure and illuminate the elemental symbol within the light-emitting orb.

Transformers Faction:

This symbol denotes a Beastformer's allegiance to one of two Transformers factions: Cybertron (Autobot) or Destron (Decepticon).

Maker's Mark:

This stamp denotes Takara/Hasbro's official trademark. Maker's marks are typically the finishing touch to a figure, finalizing its journey from early concept to final retail product.

Mold Marks:

These small circular impressions found on most figures are remnants of the molds that created them. Figures are also stamped with mold letters (A, B, or C), which indicate which of the three molds was used during production.
